WE ALWAYS STAYS AT FORTSIDNEY INN MOTEL AND WE ARE REALLY HAPPY ABOUT THE PRICE ITS VERY REASONABLE, ESPECIALLY THE ROOMS ARE GOOD SIZE AND BATHROOMS, THEY DID A LOT MORE REMODELING AND THEY PUT IN NEW FURNITURES, CLEAN ROOMS, GOT EVERYTHING U NEED, NICE BIG TV. GOOD CABLE CHANNELS WI-FI CONNECTIONS, WE FEEL LIKE WE ARE STAYING IN A MORE EXPENSIVE MOTEL LIKE THE SUPER 8. WE ARE REALLY GETTING A GOOD DEAL FOR $35 TO $45 FOR ONE BED AND THEY ALSO HAVE WEEKLY RATES IF U WANT TO STAY MORE THAN 4 DAYS. ONE OF THE ADVANTAGES THAT U GET FOR STAYING AT THIS MOTEL THAT U DON'T GET IN MOST MOTEL ,IS THAT U HAVE AN ACCESS TO THEIR FULL SIZE KITCHENETTE FOR PEOPLE TO COOK ,THEY HAVE A FULL OVEN N STOVE, BIG FRIDGE, MICROVAVE, TABLES AND CHAIRS TO SIT AND EAT AND WATCH TV. FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE. AND THEY ALSO HAVE AN OUTSIDE SWIMMING POOL. SO I COULDN'T BELIEVE WHY SOME PEOPLE WRITE A REALLY NASTY REVIEWS FOR THIS MOTEL, ITS ALL MOSTLY A LIE!!! I THINK SOME BUSSINESSES ARE JEALOUS AND MAYBE THEY WROTE UGLY COMMENTS AND ALSO PEOPLE THAT STAYED AND THEY DIDN'T GET REFUNDS FOR SOME OTHER REASONS.
the reviews must be old. rooms are concerning to say the least. first glance looks ok, clean, older a little sketchy. After getting in things are concerning. bathroom had old soap in small pieces in corner behind door. shower walls taped up. carpets, well keep your shoes on. bugs on counter dead. We slept 6 hours and left as quick as we could. Had we realized and it wasn't so late we wouldn't of stayed there. Hard to find a room last minute. Plan ahead!
Not a 2 star hotel as advertised. We had to park on the street and there was a gap in the door. Clean but shabby.
The room had peeling wallpaper and painted cinderblock, every electrical outlet was overloaded by splitters, and the whole venue was crummy and dingy. The bathroom had mold growing in corners, and the lobby bathroom (which was locked and required a key from the front desk) was filthier. There were signs handwritten on the walls in bad English, and there was a cup of something yellowing on the sink counter. The room had obviously not been looked at for at least a day, let alone cleaned. The whole motel was obviously under the nominal care of a money-grubbing, apathetic owner and not a caring person.
First of all, don't make a reservation. Reservations cost twice as much as the nightly rate posted on the building, and they cannot be canceled within 24 hours of the stay. CANNOT. You will pay a fee equal to the cost of the night's stay if you cancel. We had an emergency and tried to cancel our reservation the day of, and the owner basically said that he didn't care what emergency we were having.
This place is no Best Western, but they were nice to our dog, and the room was clean and nice enough, for a very decent price.
