Very nice hotel! Beautiful rooms and excellent staff! I don't think they have a guest laundry though... but that's okay!
Fairfields in general are decent hotels and designed for the most part for business travel. This one is fairly new and as such on good shape. The one issue I had was the business center. They do not let you print documents. This kinda defeats the purpose. I had a similar problem when I stayed there a few months back and was told it was just a problem with the printer. This time the desk person flat out said it is not allowed. As such I will not stay there again. If they are so worried about a few pennies for me to print a one page document then they are a bot to stingy for me.
Super nice place, however front desk gal was pretty rude, and the whole check-in procedure pissed me off. It's Christmas, and visiting family, so I decided to book a room. I'm a single father, traveling with 2 teenage children. I booked a suite, with 2 beds, and a pull-out on Expedia. Upon arrival, the not-so-cheery front desk millennial (millennial in a small town, it was actually really weird to find that here in Sidney) stated that our room had been given away. No apology for giving our room away, she handed us keys, we get our bags upstairs, key into the room, and viola...2 beds. I wasn't told " Mr. Such-and-such, I apologize, but we only have a room with 2 beds, will that be ok?" She checked us in, ran my card for a different amount than I approved, without any acknowledgement, or asking for approval. Now, I will have to share a double bed with my teenage son. This is certainly not the level of service I expected to get at the nicest place in Sidney. I will be addressing with the manager in the morning. Merry Christmas!
It was one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. The girl working at the front desk that checked me in was very friendly. They gave me a late check-out which was nice because I didn't arrive till about 3 in the morning. And I can tell it's a new hotel and they have a nice retroactive style in the lobby. Definitely a great place to stay if you're in Sidney Nebraska.
Rose Onken shared with us the awesome qualities the hotel had to offer. The room was cozy and breakfast was great. I woild suggest getting the bar working and add a jacuzzi! It was a great choice to stay here. Rose is a friendly and knowledgeable hostess! We would definitely recommend staying here.
