My daughter and her friend were on their way back to Boise on a cross country vacation. Their oil light came on, so they pulled over to add oil. Back on the highway, the oil light came on again, and as it turned out, they had added too much oil. Afraid to drive and blow a gasket, they pulled over in Sidney, Nebraska and stayed the night until they could get to a mechanic. Worried that a mechanic would take advantage of two college students, who knew nothing about cars, I looked up auto repair shops in the area and saw a very positive review for Randys' I called first thing in the morning to see what time they opened, and Randy answered. He said he was booked, but if they came in he would "fit them in." They showed up early, and he had them on their way within the hour, gave them tips and advice for the rest of the drive, and charged an extremely reasonable price! I wish Randy's was in MY hometown!
My son and family were moving from Missouri to Washington state, using a truck and U Haul trailer. They stopped at a rest stop just outside of Sidney and the truck refused to start up again. They finally got it started and went into Sidney to get some professional advice on the truck. Though they were too busy to check out the truck in detail, after listening to the symptoms, gave advice to prevent what was diagnosed as vapor lock. The advice was wonderful and they did not charge for it!
